While we do welcome all insurance, we are only providers with Delta Dental Premire, Metlife and Aultcare. We are considered an unrestricted provider with all other insurances, so you won't find our name on your preferred provider listing. We bill for most all dental insurance, and do our best to help our patients maximize their dental benefits. 
Many of our patients feel very strongly about being able to choose their own dentist. We are finding that patients don't want to be restricted to a provider within the discount provider listings supplied by the insurance companies. Many patients prefer to select a dental office they feel is right for them, and one that they trust to take care of all their family's needs regardless if the dentist is on their preferred provider listing or not. 
Dental benefits can vary from company to company.  Insurance companies base the amounts that they will pay (called the UCR) toward your dental treatment on restricted fee schedules related to the premium payments made by the employer. In other words, your insurance plan will pay only what it allows for each service, regardless of what the actual fee may be.
Any doctor in private practice will have fees that insurance companies define as “higher than usual and customary”.
Our office lives by the concept of "no suprises".  We let you know up front what your recommended treatment is, and what fees to expect. We gladly submit pre-determinations to your dental insurance, and have many payment options available to you for any remaining balances.  Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
